About Me God

Hello! My name's Danny. I write words down and then say them to people. Sometimes they rhyme, sometimes they're loud. My dad has described them as dramatic. I don't know about that, but what I do know is every word is written and spoken in order to glorify God. If that means getting a little dramatic passionate, then so be it.

I've been writing poetry since I learned how to write (in full sentences, anyway). One of the best feelings in the world is allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you to touch the lives of the people around you, and I consider it an incredible privilege that I get to do that through writing/speaking.

Writing and talking performing poems are definitely some of my favorite activities, but I also enjoy reading, singing, hiking, camping, fishing, painting, movie-watching, and probably about anything else you could name that doesn't involve math-doing or cleaning. I'm currently a daycare teacher, youth leader, and website ministry director at my church. By the grace of God I've been on two mission trips to Cambodia and one to a Navajo reservation in northern New Mexico.
